Changes in My Life

Since my last blog post few things have changed. I've been working my life away at a job (Wal-Mart) that is just getting me by...I've never wanted to live this way, to be honest. I've always had a mindset that I would have a job that kept money building up in my savings. Don't get me wrong, I love the people I work with, but I need something more...big and better! A job that allowed me to live in a beautiful town with a ton of scenery and endless sites to explore with my man :)  But I feel like my life has just begun and I have plenty of time for this to come true!

 

Also, at the end of August Mason (boyfriend) and I moved in together into a one bedroom apartment. And before everyone goes crazy saying this was a bad idea, to answer a question that I know is running in your heads...we've been dating for five years now so we pretty much know everything about the other lol I actually think we already act like we're married. Anywaysss just months after we moved in with each other, we adopted a cute little kitten from the humane society. Our family is already growing :)

 

Being independent and living on your own is not all it's cracked up to be. When we we're all young and in grade school all we could think about was being older, not having to go to school, and moving out of our parents. Yes, I love being independent and not relying on my parents anymore, but that means working my a$$ off for survival and material items. Girls love their retail therapy :D Bills are such a happiness crusher. I feel like all I ever do is hand my paychecks to bills :( I just have to remind myself that everyone else is in the same pickle I am.

All we can do is keep our heads up and stay positive for what the future has to bring us. And that's my goal for the rest of my life. You never know where life could take you. Hopefully my future takes me to Cali or somewhere where it's warm most of the year :) Anywhere but this state of Ohio PLEASE haha

I know this blog post has been mostly depressing, I apologize. I felt like a life update and random thoughts were needed for the fact of me being M.I.A. for so long. I promise my next post will be positive. I've got my head held high :)

DIY Studded Jean Shorts

Updates in My Life

     Hello again :) It has been sooo long since I've been on here and I apologize :/ But today I thought I would just update everyone on what has happened/going on in my life at this moment.

     Just this last Wednesday was my last day in my Digital Photography class for this semester. Instead of coming back the next week to take the final, my teacher was nice and decided to have us take the final this week because there is no point in coming back just to take a short final and leaving. I thought it was really nice of her because in my case I drive an hour to and from class, so having the final a week early helped me on gas :) That night I registered for Studio Photography in the fall (so happy I get the summer off) but ended up getting the class with crappy hours, 6:30pm-9pm :( but that's my own fault for waiting until the last minute.

    

 GOOD NEWS! I finally got a job! YAY! I now work as a cashier at Wal-Mart. I actually like this job compared to my last job. I work with a lot of nice people, everyone is friendly. I've made some new friends as well. I like this job more than my last because it keeps me busy. I'm almost constantly ringing people up and I'm never bored. It is exhausting though. Everyday after work my back and feet hurt from standing so long and I'm just exhausted altogether. Also, Wal-Mart has several benifits, plus I get a store discount card! So yay! I have a job :D

I'm explaing these out of order, but Monday after class I drove over to my boyfriends and the first thing he says to me is, "Do you wanna go get a tattoo?" At first, I was shocked. I didn't know what to say and I didn't know he even wanted one. If you know me, you'd know I can't say no to something like this. I've always wanted a tattoo, so sharing this first time experience with the person I love the most would be even better :) We decided to get a less than three heart (<3) because ever since the day we started dating (going on 5 yrs) we've used the heart at the end of every text. So this tattoo means a lot to the both of us :) I would explain the pain as being a cat scratch so it didn't really bother me. I would rate the pain as a 1.5 out of 5, 5 being the most painful. And it only took around 5 minutes :) I can't wait to get my next tattoo this summer!

And finally, this week I'm stressing over senior pictures. Graduation is coming soon and everyone who I have taken senior portaits for is in need of their photos in the next week. It's stressing me out because I have to juggle work, editing, emailing, and me time all at the same time. Soon this will all be over and everyone will be happy :)
